Breakfast: It’s the day before Christmas Eve. My friend Roswitha had told me when I saw her two days ago that she was meeting some people at Margaritaville in Capitola on Saturday. It was a tradition to go there the day before Christmas Eve. We love Capitola and we thought we would meet them there. We left early and had plenty of time to stop at Dharma’s for brunch. They seem to always have a Groupon available when we plan on going so I grabbed one. I got the Garden Salad, like I usually do. It never disappoints.
Gary got the Breakfast Burrito. He worked his way around it but there was too much to finish. This would make nice leftovers later.
Lunch: We met Roswitha and her friends Johnny and Yolanda at Margaritaville. It was a gorgeous day and we sat outside with a view of the Pacific Ocean. I ordered a Chamomile Citrus Tea. They made a mistake and brought me a Peppermint tea first and let me have both. I mixed them together! It was good. Gary dangerously ordered Decaf Coffee. Watch out! There’s caffeine in decaf coffee. Yup, he felt it later.
Dinner: Later back at the house we settled in with Purple Potatoes, Salad and Tortillas with Avocado.
