Breakfast: Yes, this breakfast looks a lot like yesterday’s breakfast. Sometimes a dish is so good you dream of having it again and again. Only I am lucky because this dream came true: Oatmeal with Blueberry Fruit Compote, Flax Seeds and Walnuts with Green Tea.

We received a package filled with delights from Miyoko’s Creamery!! When I interviewed Miyoko Schinner on IT’S ALL ABOUT FOOD a few weeks ago she said she would have some things sent to me. We can’t wait to try them. Stay tuned to read all about what we do with these products: Cultured Butter and Vegan Mozz.

Lunch: My dear friend Nancy was visiting from San Francisco and I brought her over to my favorite restaurant in our ‘hood, Green Zenphony. We began with the Veggie Roast Pork Appetizer. It was salty, sweet and chewy. Mm.

You’ve seen this one many times, the Veggie Roast Duck Noodle Soup. It’s a favorite. Only this time I splurged and got it with wontons, which made it extra yummy.

Our green dish was Chinese Broccoli since they were out of Pea Pod Leaves. I don’t know which I like better, they are both so good.

Dinner: When I returned home the house was filled a beautiful aromas. Gary was making his signature Vedure Al Forno just to have around when we got hungry. I was very sated from lunch but I could not resist having a Roasted Potato with a Roasted Caramelized Red Onion.
