What Vegans Eat – Day 604

Breakfast: The day began simply and plain. We had more Lemon Chickpea Soup for breakfast with Pumpkin Spice Bread and our favorite schmears. You should know what they are by now!

Lunch: Gary made a big Kale Salad for lunch. We always fill refill our plates.

Daily Green Juice: Kale, Collards, Celery, Carrots, Lemon, Ginger
 
Tea Break: After our great big Kale Salad we had Vanilla Black tea and a SLIVER of Sweet as Honey Cake. It is now in the freezer so we won’t be going for it all the time.

Evening: We found out in the middle of the day that one of our favorite cousins, Jared, would be driving up from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and stopping by. Well, I couldn’t help myself when speaking to him on the phone. “Vegan Treats!” I blurted out, know that this awesome vegan bakery is in Bethlehem. Sure enough, Jared arrived with a box of goodies – Peanut Butter Bombs. We made a big pot of Teecino, dug into one of the gooey treats and had a great night, chatting, singing and playing games. I sliced up a Mango and Gary made Popcorn. This was a major junk overload but worth it.
