What Vegans Eat – Day 704: Travel Edition

Share

Breakfast: Sundaes for Saturday breakfast! We had leftover cooked Millet topped with Coconut, Walnuts, Raisins and Apricot Butter. Since I don’t add sweeteners to my morning cereal, the Apricot Butter tasted wonderfully sweet. It was a morning treat. My belly was full and warm and ready for a full day of vocal rehearsals for Fiddler On The Roof.

Daily Green Juice: We have to have our juice, especially during rainy weather with many people around us down with colds. I had one now and I was determined for it not too last. Whole Foods Campbell Blend perked us right up.

Snack: Our producer, Barb brought us Peanut Butter Cookies and Cupcakes from Icing on the Cake in Los Gatos. We nibbled on a cookie and saved the rest for later in the evening after rehearsal.

Dinner: It seemed essential to get to Vegetarian House for their excellent soups and other dishes. I was exhausted from teaching and conducting and need good fuel. I ordered the Flying Buddha, once again.
