What Vegans Eat – Day 737: Travel Edition

Breakfast: I haven’t had oats in a long time, ten days actually. That may be a record. And it was time to break that record. I chopped up whatever I could find in the pool house: Apples, Bananas, Walnuts, Almonds and added in Raisins and Rolled Oats and mixed it all with some cold Soy Milk. Sliced Oranges went with it.

Lunch: Before our evening rehearsal, Gary had an appointment in downtown San Jose for a photo shoot for a reading he will be doing in a few weeks. We went to nearby Tofu Com Chay for their big Noodle Soups.

Tea Break: We still had time before the photo shoot, so we stopped at Roy’s Station for some tea. I got my favorite Matte Chino with Soy Milk.

Gary left me at Roy’s while he went to his appointment. His cousin Nancy joined me at Roy’s bearing gifts – a big bag of fresh oranges from her tree.

Dinner: After our evening Fiddler on the Roof rehearsal we came back to the pool house ready to eat. I put out a nice spread with Arugula Salad, Celery, Orange Bell Pepper, Guacamole, Mushrooms, Field Roast Tomato Slices, Corn Thins and Fresh Oranges.
