What Vegans Eat – Day 863

Breakfast: Tomorrow we are leaving for California. We’ll be gone for about 10 days, visiting friends and family. Food-wise, we’ve planned for this and now we are eating up what’s left that needs to go. We had some precooked Oatmeal, with sliced Bananas and Almond Yogurt. Gary grated some Nutmeg on top of our bowls. I had chilled Jasmine Tea.

Lunch: There was one more bowl left of Carrot Lentil Soup. I ate it cold. It’s getting hot here and the humidity and starting to build. Cold soup is good in hot weather. The Dinosaur Kale had been beautiful lately and made a gorgeous Kale Salad with Tahini Dressing.

Daily Green Juice: Kale, Collards, Celery, Carrots, Ginger, Lime
 
Dinner: We’re packing, cleaning and finishing up all the little tasks that need to be done. There’s no more fresh food. We decided to order in from Green Zenphony. We’ve ordered their food two nights in a row. I don’t think that has every happened before. We both ordered our old favorites – Veggie Roast Duck Noodle Soup and Veggie Roast Pork Noodle Soup plus Chinese Broccoli and Brown Rice.
