What Vegans Eat – Day 1232, Travel Edition – Bay Area, CA

Breakfast: This morning we just had tea and then went for a walk to investigate the neighborhood. It’s quiet here! Not like walking in our ‘hood in Queens. The Magnolia trees line many streets and are in bloom. Stunning!

Lunch: For lunch, Gary prepped the Snap Peas. Why don’t we eat these more often? They had a delightful garden flavor and are sweet and crunchy.

The Peas joined the Black Beans, Red Onions, Avocado and Greens in a Salad.

Afterward, we had Purple Potatoes. You would never guess by the grey, dull exterior how bright and gorgeous they are inside.

Dinner: After an exhausting rehearsal, we were too pooped to prepare anything. I had a Rice Cake with Peanut Butter.
