What Vegans Eat – Day 1252, Travel Edition – Bay Area, CA

Breakfast: It’s back to our working all day and night routine for the week directing two casts of Into the Woods. I teach the music in the morning. We bring our food and hot teas with us for the day. Before getting started I have my Rolled Oats breakfast with Bananas, Raisins and Walnuts with Maté Tea and a Tangelo.

 
Lunch: It’s all about carbs today with a high-starch lunch of Polenta, Yellow and Purple Potatoes topped with Dijon Mustard.

 
Dinner: After the Teens’ rehearsal Gary and I went over to Whole Foods to grab some provisions. We sat and enjoyed our Evolution Green Juices.

 
Strawberries are in season, gorgeous and fragrant, and a good price. I don’t talk about organic much, but most of the food we buy and prepare ourselves is organic. I am mentioning it now because strawberries must be organic, otherwise they have a bad toxic residue that no one should be consuming.

 
Evening: Rehearsal ends at 10pm. We got back to the house and had our late night supper of Salad, Baked Tofu and more Yellow and Purple Sweet Potatoes.
