What Vegans Eat – Day 1371


Breakfast: Everyday should start with Teeccino, Soy Foam and Cinnamon. Mm.

Gary’s at his Monday acting class at HB Studio. I am recovering from a hectic week. I ate a Sweet Potato for breakfast. I thought I would have two but one was enough.

Lunch: I hadn’t seen my mom in over a week. On the way, I stopped at Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s to shop for mom as well as for Gary and me. As soon as I got to mom’s I started cooking. We finished up the soup I had made her a few weeks ago. I collected all the older vegetables that needed to move out of the refrigerator and made a big Romaine Lettuce Salad and a Vegetable Soup. Mom showed me a few bottles of beer that were in the pantry. Someone had left them. She doesn’t drink beer. One was a Pumpkin Spice Ale and I added it to the soup for flavor.

I always make sure there are Dr. Praeger’s California Veggie Burgers on hand and I made two for me.

Dinner: Tomorrow is the Werkit 2018 Women’s Podcast Festival. A friend of mine from Baltimore invited me to go along with her. Gary and I had her over for dinner. We said it would be simple, and it was, but it looked impressive! We had a Bean Stew, our Rice Blend with Red, Black and Brown Rices, Kale Salad with Pomegranate Seeds and Tahini Dressing, Cauliflower Frittata and Roasted Tempeh.

I got to taste the Pear Crisp Gary made while I was away.

Afterwards we had some fresh Pineapple.

We made a pot of Jasmine Tea and nibbled on Figs and Nuts.

Evening: Everyday should end with Teeccino, Soy Foam and Cinnamon. Mm.
