First Meal: The morning had begun luxuriously, I was relaxed, taking my time and I was looking forward to our breakfast. There were Steel Cut Oats and Millet Waffles already made from yesterday making breakfast super easy and yummy. I happened to check my emails before sitting down at the table. It was from Sheldon Krimsky, the author I planned on interviewing later in the day. He had emailed me yesterday but somehow I missed it. He was ready to meet me at 11am in Manhattan to prerecord our interview that I planned to air at 4pm. It was 9:30am. I had to hustle. Gary was a sweetheart and packed my waffles (with mashed bananas and peanut butter) to go. I ate them on the subway.
Second Meal: The interview with Shledon Krimsky on his book GMOs Decoded was very enjoyable. I hope you listen to it. We sat down to listen to it while we had a late lunch of leftovers – Mashed Potatoes, Barbecue Tempeh Ribs, Kale Salad, Red Cabbage Kraut and Purple Sweet Potato Salad.
Third Meal: Better late than never! We had a late dinner starting with the usual Kale Salad with Red Onions, Olives and Tahini Dressing.
We wrapped it up with Corn Tortillas, Guacamole and Pinto Beans.
