What Vegans Eat – Day 391


Breakfast: How did this happen? Gary and I rarely ever have colds. We got a really bad one over Christmas that knocked us down for days. And now some new bug had taken over! We were starting to feel something Sunday night and sleeping was difficult. We have congestion and low grade fevers. Blech! Gary wasn’t hungry and somehow he got dressed and went to his acting class. I needed food. Starve a cold, feed a fever? Starve a fever, feed a cold? If you are hungry eat, if not, don’t. I made Breakfast Polenta with Apples and Raisins, cooked with a Cinnamon Stick and served with English Breakfast tea with Lemon.
Lunch: I craved the Spicy String Beans with Tofu dish we had the night before. There was a little left and it was just right.
7march-lunchDaily Green Juice: Kale, Collards, Celery, Carrots, Lime.
Dinner: I made Carrot Lentil Soup. Afterwards I had a Kale Salad with Tahini Dressing and Blueberries.
