What Vegans Eat – Day 649: Special Travel Edition

Breakfast: Fortunately we didn’t have to be at the theater until noon for the second day of auditions and callbacks. I made Oatmeal with Apples, Raisins and Dates with Irish Breakfast Tea.

Lunch: Before heading to the theater we went to Peet’s. I ordered a vegan scone with my tea. I wasn’t hungry for it – I just wanted to support the demand for vegan items. But I was glad to have it a little while later.

Dinner: We had a break between 4pm and 6pm and we went to the Vegetarian House. It was rainy and cold and I wanted something different. We got the Thai Curry Soup. Yes, it was a good choice for the day.

We also got our favorite Heavenly Salad and the Spicy Cha Cha (breaded vegan shrimp).

Evening: The callbacks ran from 6-10pm. It was intense. We got back to the pool house and just started eating whatever we could put together: I went with a Banana and Peanut Butter.

Then I munched on Arugula and then made a salad with Tahini Dressing.
