Breakfast: Happy Easter morning! The Easter bunny brought Gary some Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter cups! Hurray! Gary prepared our morning Rolled Oats, making mine with my favorite toppings: Cacao Nibs, Bananas, Walnuts, Blueberries, Raisins and Soy Milk. Recently I ordered a sample bag of Chocolate Pu-Erh Tea from Arbor Teas. It has Cacao Nibs in it! I will be borrowing that idea soon in other teas. I am celebrating my birthday week too and love looking at my birthday tulips.
Dinner: Gary prepared our Easter Dinner while listening to the album of Jesus Christ Superstar. This is the original record I bought when it first came out on Broadway! It’s perfect music for the day. He made Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Roots Vegetables and Tempeh Strip Steak with Tomatoe Sauce.
Daily Green Juice: Kale, Collards, Celery, Carrots, Ginger, Lemon
Evening: For dessert we tried the Peanut Butter Cup. It was okay, but we like our version better, dipping our favorite dark chocolate in our favorite peanut butter. This peanut butter in this candy cup was mixed with sugar and salt, and in our opinion, did not enhance the combination.
Here’s to another day. A toast with anti-inflammatory Unsweetened Cherry Juice.
