Breakfast: Today I had planned another visit with my parents and I had a list of things to do with them Gary was being very attentive as I tried to catch up on some work before leaving. He made me a big Strawberry Banana smoothie.

Afterwards, we had Rolled Oats with Walnuts, Bananas, and Dried Apricots and Soy Milk.

Lunch: When I got to my parents I suggested my mom make lunch while I would take my dad to get a blood test and we could go on some quick errands. It was an exceptionally hot day and dad was tired. He wasn’t up for walking around the stores with me but I was not going to leave him in the hot car. At Trader Joe’s he sat in the shade on a bench. When we got to Target, I left the car running with the AC on. Finally back at home we sat down for lunch: Dr. Prager California Veggie Burgers, cooked Cauliflower and Kale. It was a good lunch. Thanks, Mom!

Dinner: I left the house rather late and was so lucky to get a parking spot right in front of the apartment. Oh, my parking CARma continues to be good! Gary made a nourishing Kale Salad topped with the remaining Millet and Black Bean Stew from yesterday.

Evening: We settled in to watch a movie on Netflix with a bowl of fresh Pineapple.
