What Vegans Eat – Day 1057, Travel Edition


Lunch: We landed in San Jose late last night. Naturally we took our time getting up and getting out. We went to the nearest place we could go to where we like to eat. That’s Khanh’s. We only ordered 2 Tofu Rolls to start. I was sure we’d get more later.

There are 4 Vegetarian items on the menu and the servers know what we eat like. Gary gets the Rice Vermicelli with Vegetables.

I’m the Vegetable Combination. No more Tofu Rolls were necessary. This was a satisfying lunch.

We went to Gary’s sister’s home to pick up the things we had left there from a week ago, and that included some food – Oats, Peanut Butter, Raisins, Soy Milk, Beans and Tofu.
Dinner: After a long rehearsal, and we had a late supper of Rolled Oats, Raisins, Almonds and Soy Milk.

We also finished up the Celery and Carrots sticks we brought with us on the plane and dipped them in Peanut Butter.
