Breakfast: We’re back to our simple Oats breakfast with Raisins, Bananas, Almonds and Soy Milk. It’s all we have at the moment so there isn’t a lot of variety. It’s a good thing we love eating this way.
Lunch: Salad Greens with Garbanzo Beans and Tahini Dressing – it’s another repeat meal, we had the same for dinner last night. It works.
Dinner: Before going to rehearsal we had a quick but fun meal of Peanut Butter, Raisins, Dates and Bananas and Teeccino to go with it.
Supper: After an exhausting rehearsal, we rushed to the Veggie Grill. We got there at 9:40pm and they close at 10pm. We decided to look for another place where we could eat and relax. I remembered going to a restaurant with Gary and his dad when we landed in San Jose late one evening. I was impressed that his dad who was about 89 or 90 (he’s 92 now) was up for going out so late. It was a fun memory. We found the place, Kenji Sushi and made another fun memory.
Gary ordered an Avocado Roll. They brought us two. How did they know I would happily eat it? We were so hungry!
We had a side of Edamame and we each got the Buddha Roll. It was filled with all kinds of goodies and wrapped in thinly sliced cucumber and topped with a pear purée. It was fresh with a combination of different flavors. This restaurant is open until midnight and will likely be our after rehearsal go-to spot.
