What Vegans Eat – Day 114 (Special Travel Edition)


Breakfast: We had not gone shopping yet since we arrived here and California and had a few staples that our hosts, Tammy and Mark, had bought for us, including some plain tofu. We love plain tofu and we were hungry. We at it like cheese along with some mixed nuts and Kukitcha Tea. I had a small cup of Organic Pink Grapefruit Italian Soda. It was refreshing on this hot day.
Lunch: We had lunch at Hanna Modern Vietnamese Bistro in Los Gatos and chose some of the Power Lunch Specials. We started with Jasmine Tea.
Our lunches came with Spring Rolls and Asian Slaw.3june-spring-roll-salad
I had the Grilled Tofu Steak with Lemongrass Glaze and Baby Greens.
Gary got the Eggplant and Tofu in Curry Sauce.
Daily Green Juice: I am grateful for Wholefoods with Juice bars when I am traveling. I got a juice with Spinach, cucumber, celery, parsley.
Evening: I was full from lunch and skipped dinner. Later on I enjoyed some Soy Creamy Black Cherry Ice Cream and Peppermint Tea. This is fun!
