What Vegans Eat – Day 1145

Breakfast: This morning I made a cereal with our cooked rice blend of Red Rice, Black Rice, Brown Rice and Millet, topped with Raspberry Coulis and Flaked Coconut.

 
Dinner: Our friend Lawrence was singing at a church nearby. When he sings there, we try to meet before for a meal. Today we went to Green Zenphony. I got my favorite Cabbage and Lemon juice.

 
Lawrence and I both love Bean Curd skin so we had to get the appetizer called Roast Soy Duck (cold cut).

 
Gary went with the Barbecue Veggie Ribs.

 
I talked Lawrence into trying the Sizzling Mushrooms Infinity, strips of Black Mushrooms, Snow Peas, Carrots, Jicama & Basil in a sizzling sauce, served on a hot platter garnished with Broccoli & Bean Sprouts. It’s an unusual dish that I knew he’d like. I wanted something “clean” without a thick sauce. The Rainbow Bowl was perfect, and acorn squash stuffed with veggies.

 
Today’s greens were Chinese Broccoli.

 
Orange slices for dessert – just right.
