Breakfast: It’s my day to visit mom. She’s having some guests over and it’s my assignment to pick up some food to serve them. Mom wants fruit and cake. I had my tea and stopped at Trader Joe’s for a fast shopping.
Lunch: Mom had cut up a Honeydew and served it with Strawberries and Sliced Oranges. I brought two cakes for her and her guests. We sat and chatted and drank green tea.
By the time the guests left I was starving. I didn’t know what to make, there isn’t a lot of my kind of food there. I regularly buy mom bananas, but I don’t think she’s bananas over bananas, if you know what I mean. They often end up in the freezer when they get too ripe. I decided to use some of them and make a smoothie with Blueberries and Almond Milk. It was too sweet for me, can you believe it? Just Bananas, Blueberries and unsweetened Almond Milk. I drank it all.
Dinner: When I got home, Gary and I made a big meal. We were both hungry. We didn’t eat much yesterday or today. We had Butternut Squash, Garbanzo Beans and Black Beans, Guacamole, Kale Salad with Lemon Hemp Seed Dressing and Corn Tortillas.
