Breakfast: Yes, we check the REAL app for recipes all the time! This morning we scrolled through the waffle recipes and selected the Fruity Waffles. An old favorite and an excellent choice! And in keeping with the Thanksgiving spirit we topped them with Gary’s Cranberry Sauce (sweetened with Apricots and Dates and no refined sugar).
Dinner: There were plenty of Socca Wraps leftover from yesterday so we began with them again today for dinner filling them again with Pinto Beans, Brown/Red/Black Rice Blend and Salsa. I mixed my portion of cheesy Tahini/Miso/Nutritional Yeast Sauce with Porcini Mushrooms.
Fortunately for us, no one had no room for much dessert on Thanksgiving. All three pies got sliced and frozen. Now we take out slivers of whatever we want whenever we want dessert. Tonight it was a sliver of Purple Sweet Potato Pie and a sliver of raw Pecan Pie. Life is good!
