What Vegans Eat – Day 1534

Share

First Meal: We are leaving this evening for California. Instead of packing yesterday we left it for today. It was nice actually. We got a good night’s sleep and got up rested and ready to pack. We had a lot of cooked organic Millet that I reheated with organic Raisins, organic Bananas and organic Cinnamon for a breakfast dish.

Second Meal: Once at the airport I caught up on some work and got really hungry. Gary went off to hunt for food. He got me some Avocado and Cucumber Maki along with Edamame.

Snacks:
We brought along organic Apples for the flight.

And we made a bag of organic Gorp with Shredded Coconut, Almonds, Sunflower Seeds, Raisins and Dates.

Third Meal: The flight arrived early in San Jose and I couldn’t wait to eat again. There’s one Japanese restaurant here that we know is open late. As soon as we got into our rental car we drove to Kenji Sushi. I ordered the Mushroom Salad with Sautéed mushrooms (Enoki, shitake, button mushroom) and spring mix greens. It comes with a sesame mayo dressing and I asked to leave that off.

Gary ordered Avocado and Inoki Maki.

With our bellies full we headed to Gary’s childhood home where we’d be staying for a few days. We’ll be helping to pack up the house and get it ready to sell.
