What Vegans Eat – Day 1544


First Meal: It’s the eighth day of the 2019 Food Revolution Summit. Have you been tuning in to this amazing event? Gary and I stayed in a beach house last night and this morning I sat for over 3 hours answering questions that came in about nutrition on the broadcast page while enjoying the gorgeous view outside. I took a moment to eat an organic Peach.

Second Meal: I am leaving tonight to go home to New York. Gary will be staying in California a little longer. We are sad about separating yet again. We hadn’t been to Crepes Bistro this trip so it was time to go. Gary ordered his favorite Avocado Crepe which comes with Avocado, Carrots, Tomatoes, Spinach, Onions and Lemon Tahini Sauce.

I was not in the mood for a crepe so I chose the Quinoa Power Bowl with Organic quinoa sauteed with Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Onions, Spinach, Green Onions, and a special spice blend and topped with fresh Romaine, Parsley and Lemon Tahini Sauce. It’s brilliant!

We took out time and lingered a while. Then we decided to share a dessert crepe and chose the vegan version of their French Affection. Ooh la la! C’est si bon!

Third Meal: Back at the pool house later in the day I snacked on some Rice Crackers with Avocado. Then it was time to head to the airport and fly home to New York.
