First Meal: It’s the day before Gary’s birthday and Memorial Day. The celebration continues. I made organic Buckwheat Crepes. This is an awesome, no-fail recipe (if you follow my instructions!) I took out our “new” Ralph Lauren Wedgewood plates for the occasion. They have little American flags in the design.
I filled my first crepe with sliced organic Pears and organic smashed Bananas.
My second crepe had organic Peanut Butter and organic Apricot Butter.
Second Meal: We took another long walk around the neighborhood today. Gary offered to make dinner and I kept myself busy with work until it was ready. I was so hungry. It was worth waiting for. He kept bringing out more dishes: An organic Vegetable Medley of Red and Yellow Bell Peppers, Eggplant, Cauliflower and Red Onions with Herbes de Provence; Millet; organic Baked Tempeh Fries; and organic Japanese Yams and organic Purple Sweet Potatoes. There’s was Tahini Dressing to top it off. We shared a bottle of Samuel Smith Organic Pale Ale.
Here’s how it came together on my plate.
