What Vegans Eat – Day 159


Breakfast: Happiness is finding oats in the freezer when you think you are out of them. Grateful for our morning oats we celebrated topping them with strawberries, bananas, cashews and flax seeds. I had it with a Green Mango Peach tea.
Daily Green Juice: Kale, Celery, Lime, Carrots, Mint, Cilantro
Dinner: We were meeting friends at Bareburger in Manhattan before going to see It Shoulda Been You on Broadway. Gary and I shared a 32 ounce stein of Magic Hat beer with French Fries.
And of course we had burgers – the Guadalupe: black bean burgers with pickled red onions, tomatoes, alfalfa, guacamole, sprouted bun.
Dessert: The theater was just around the corner from the Juice Generation. I already had my green juice for the day and we went in for a treat. Gary and I both got a Mr Greengenes, made with spinach, kale, mango, banana, almond milk and ice.
