Morning Tea Roy’s Station is a happy place. It always feels good to be here. It’s a beautiful morning and our last day of teaching. We left the house early and had tea at Roy’s. My new tea of choice is the Peach Apricot. It’s supposed to be a black tea blend but I don’t feel any of the caffeine. Gary gets a Mint Blend. We both get ours with Steamed Soy Milk.
First Meal: While Gary teaches the morning class, I needed to eat. I had a salad that I brought along with me.
Second Meal: I thought I finished the Black Bean/Purple Sweet Potato Stew but there was more so I finished it for lunch.
Gary is living on Peanut Butter, Apricot Jam and Rice Cakes. His looked so good, I indulged with one myself.
Third Meal: Our classes are done. Tomorrow, the students get to perform in a Showcase. I’m excited to see how they do. They have been wonderful in class, working hard and listening! Where to go now for food? I chose Loving Hut in the Westfield Mall. I love seeing their big VEGAN sign in the food court. We had Pho.
Afterward, for the second day in a row, we went to Pressed Juicery for Freeze. I noticed that there were many Vegan toppings. This was new! I had to try some. There are vegan marshmallows, vegan peach gummy bears, and colorful vegan sprinkles! I tried the Crispy Quinoa Gems, which were like M&Ms, the Praline Pecan Pieces and the sprinkles! It was fun, but in my opinion, too sweet. I’ll stick to the plain Freeze in the future.
