First Meal: Yes, bean soups make great breakfasts. The Carrot Red Lentil Soup with Genmaicha tea was just right.
Second Meal: Gary and I will be traveling in a few days so we are not stocking the refrigerator. It’s a good excuse to go to Bareburger. Gary tried (and liked) the Black Bean Burger today.
The Cali Fresh Salad topped with a Quinoa/Chia/Green Pea Pattie is the meal for me.
At Bareburger they will serve your burger on a collard leaf if you don’t want a bun. So I guess the Collard Stems started to pile up. At home, we typically juice the stems. They are very nutritious. At Bareburger they fry ’em up and serve them with a vegan aioli.
