Tea: If I had to choose a favorite tea, would it be Bai Mu Dan? I love it’s refreshing flavor and fresh scent. I also love smelling the leaves after they have been brewed. It makes me feel like I am in a grassy field with wildflowers.
First Meal: Yesterday’s Pasta and Pea becomes a Breakfast Soup with added Kale, Green Onions and a little Chickpea Miso.
For dessert, one of the leftover Pancakes from a couple of days ago with Banana Cream and Raspberry Coulis. Life is very good!
Second Meal: We had to replenish our food supply. Even though I am leaving in two days and Gary in four, we needed to get some Kale for salad.
I made a Red Lentil and Onion Soup with lots of spices to make up for the lack of variety in the vegetable ingredients.
We bought lots of very sweet, Sweet Potatoes to eat now and also to travel with in a few days. Cooked potatoes travel well.
We washed it all down with Green Juices, made with Kale, Celery, Carrots and Cabbage.
