What Vegans Eat – Day 1687


First Meal: Gary arrived home early this morning on a Red Eye from California. I offered him organic Red Grapes to munch on while he unpacked. They disappeared quickly.

Gary went to sleep and I joined him for a little while to get in a few more hours. I woke up hungry and had a bowl of Red Lentil soup.

Second Meal: I woke Gary up around 2:30p. I was planning on having him on my IT’S ALL ABOUT FOOD show today! I made Oatmeal with Apples, Raisins, Cinnamon, Walnuts and Blueberries plus a pot of Teeccino with homemade Soy Milk. Breakfast is good anytime of the day.

Gary got to chopping after the show, for a Taco Tuesday dinner with Tempeh Taco “Meat”, Bell Peppers, Zucchini, Avocado, Sweet Potatoes, Tortillas and a cheesy sauce made with Red Lentils, Okara, Miso and Nutritional Yeast. The weather is gorgeous and we ate outside on the terrace.
