What Vegans Eat – Day 1694: travel edition – Santa Cruz, California


First Meal: This morning, after big glasses of water we took off to the Los Gatos Creek Trail for another great walk. I was really feeling the workout after yesterday’s visit walking up the concrete steps of Filmore Street. After the walk we cleaned up and nibbled on fruit and the Vegan Picnic’s Croissant before heading south over the hill to Santa Cruz for a dinner date with our friends John and Deo Robbins.
Second Meal: We had plenty of time once in Santa Cruz to mosey around a bit. We picked up some snacks at Staff of Life: a salt-free flavored Tofu and more fruit.

Third Meal: Deo made a beautiful salad that featured a new creamy oil-free dressing featuring Cashews, Peaches and Ginger. Yum.

Next was a Ratatouille inspired-stew that included Kite Hill Spinach Ricotta Ravioli, a real treat.
