What Vegans Eat – Day 1739


First Meal: One thing I love about Chinese Food are the leftovers that we use to make something different and wonderful. Gary added Cabbage to the Brown Rice Blend and chopped up the remaining dishes from yesterday to create our own version of Crispy Happy Rice, the dish we get at the Vegetarian House in San Jose. It made me very happy.

Gary served Jasmine Tea in this cute little tea cup from his mom’s collection that he inherited.

Here is another one of the cups. So precious!

Drinks: I wanted to celebrate. I went to two auditions this week and felt great about both of them. Gary got a new bottle of Maker’s Mark and mixed up Manhattans, right here in Queens.

Second Meal: We didn’t eat much today. A baked potato with the fixin’s (Yogurt and Miyoko’s Cultured Vegan Butter) sounded just right.
