What Vegans Eat – Day 1738

Share

First Meal: I love having our homemade Yogurt served in these adorable cermaic yogurt cups. They were Gary’s mom’s and now we get to enjoy them. Our yogurt tastes so good in them, mixed with Bananas, Strawberries, Raisins, Cacao Nibs, Coconut and Flax Seeds.

Snack: It’s that time of the week again, Mother’s Day, when I visit my mom. Today we will be interviewing a caregiver. I hope it goes well. We had a snack of Red Grapes, Hummus, Carrots and Cantaloupe while waiting for the appointment.

Second Meal: The interview went well. Everyone likes each other. Hurray! Next I took mom and her neighbor Laurie to Jani’s for an early dinner. I don’t like it there but I know mom does and she used to go a lot with my dad. I tried to order safely. The Avocado Maki was a good choice.

The Triple Green Delight is what I usually order with Brown Rice. I get it steamed but I don’t want it anymore. It seems to be steamed but there appears to be an oily residue and the taste is not good. I ate a few bites and didn’t finish.

Apéritif: Back at home, Gary and I enjoyed a little Port with the last of the Okara Crackers. Time to make more Soy Milk so that I get more Okara to play with.

Third Meal: It’s been a long day. We ordered in from Green Zenphony, Triple Mushrooms with Bean Curd for me, Bean Curd Platter Supreme for Gary plus Veggie Ribs and Chinese Broccoli.
