On the road again. We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve and woke up on the first day of 2020 in our hotel room. Gary slept in and I went to work out in the gym. I wanted to start the New Year off with exercise! We had brought some frozen, homemade Green Juices along and put them in the hotel refrigerator. We had them for a late breakfast before leaving our room.
First Meal: Gary drove home. It’s about a 2 1/2 hour drive. I got very hungry and was glad we had brought along some food for munching. First an Apple.
I ate up the salad we had brought along yesterday but never ate. I was grateful to have it today.
Second Meal: Later when we got home Gary made a wonderful New Year’s Day early dinner. Mac & Cheese & Peas. He whipped up a yummy Cashew Cheese Sauce and tossed it with Brown Rice Pasta and Peas. So, so good.
And to make it even more perfect, he served up some Kale and Onions. Happy New Year!
