What Vegans Eat – Day 1813


First Meal: Just another day at Responsible Eating And Living headquarters. And it starts like this. With Steel Cut Oats, topped with Cacao Nibs, Coconut, Sunflower Seeds, Blueberries and Walnuts.

Second Meal: We’ve got a podcast to broadcast today and Gary knew we’d need to eat first. He made his Asian Slaw with Napa Cabbage, Cilantro, Almonds, Scallions and Lime Juice. It’s a dish I love and wonder why we don’t have it more often.

Third Meal: We recorded a great show today, did you hear it? We talked about staying healthy during the winter flu season with a focus on actors and auditioning.

Dinner included green juices made with Kale, Celery, Carrots, Lemon and Ginger.
Snack: I try and eat two apples every day. It’s a new thing. I had my second apple in the evening with mint tea made with fresh mint. Mint tea should really only be made with fresh mint.
