What Vegans Eat – Day 184


Breakfast: Soaked Rolled Oats with Dried Figs, Coconut Flakes, Flax Seeds, Blueberries and Soy Milk for breakfast with chilled Russian Caravan Tea. I wrote about the tea the other day. It wasn’t so bad hot but it was absolutely awful chilled! I don’t recommend it at all. Drinking it cold brought out that asphalt flavor. Blech. Fortunately the cereal was good.
Daily Green Juice:Kale, Collards, Celery, Carrots, Lemon, Ginger.
Dinner: It was one of those days when there was too much to do that I didn’t sit down for a meal until late in the evneing. And I worked while eating. I made another BIG SOUP – with California Organic Brown Basmati Rice, Shiitake Mushrooms, South River Hearty Rice Miso and Raw Onions. In my weekly produce deliver from GoOrganicNYC I got a free bunch of chard. How nice! I steamed it up with sliced onions and snacked on it after eating the soup.
Daily Green Juice: Kale, Collards, Celery, Carrots, Lemon, Ginger.
Evening: Then my sweet treat alarm went off and I had to act. I made this Strawberry Ice Dream.
