What Vegans Eat – Day 208


Brunch: Gary and I invited my parents and sister’s family for brunch. We made all our favorites: French Scramble, Fruity Waffles, Compote, Home Fries along with some homemade salsa, a creamy pesto sauce and a cashew cheesy sauce. Gluten-free English Muffins and French Bread were also served along with a variety of teas and coffee. Gary made a sweet cashew cream to go with the hot beverages.
Here’s my plate! I tried just about everything.
Dinner: We went out to the California Pizza Kitchen after seeing The Gentlemen’s Guide to Love and Murder on Broadway. I was still stuffed from brunch and just ordered a cup of tea. I also had a slice of the no-cheese vegetable pizza Gary ordered. Later that evening when the two of us were back at home we got to enjoy our brunch all over again.
