Breakfast: Gary and I took a 6am flight out of JFK to San Francisco. We brought along a mixture of peanuts and raisins and a couple of Eli’s Earth Bars that we got at the VegNews Comfort Food Shindig a couple of weeks before.
Lunch: We were heading to Monterey for business. On the way we stopped at one of our favorite restaurants in the area, Dharma’s in Capitola. I ordered a big Garden Salad and the Bolo Chai and Gary got the Breakfast Burrito. My favorite part of the salad is the sunflower seed sprouts! We also ordered food to go to enjoy later for dinner. I got the Tempeh Reuben and Gary got a Veggie Burrito.
Evening: During the rehearsal for the big event the following day one of the group brought in beer from the hotel bar.
