Breakfast: The last of the cooked chickpeas were heated up with leftover Green Zenphony Chinese Broccoli and Brown Rice for a fabulous soup. I could not believe how good it was. Can it ever be duplicated?
Late Lunch: We were off to the Anti Fur Society Conference and Cruelty Free Fashion show to film some of the event. After getting some footage of the exhibitors and speakers we had plenty of time until the dinner and fashion show would start. We walked over to Blossom On Columbus, a lovely vegan restaurant. We shared a plate of nachos.
Gary had a Pinkus Hefe Weizen that he loved and I had a nice hot cup of English Breakfast tea.
It’s been a long while since I have been to an event with a spread of vegan food. Frankly I was out of practice and lacked discipline. I wasn’t really hungry but felt an obligation to try everything. I loved the bites from Beyond Sushi and the fresh fruit best.
The folks running the cash bar were late. They arrived along with Empanadas! I had a beer, empanada and some cake.
