COUNTDOWN! Only eight days until the What Vegans Eat Blog 1-year anniversary.
Thanks for reading.

Breakfast: I tried another Organa tea flavor, pan-fired green. I cut open the bag, like I did yesterday and brewed it as a loose tea. It was the first thing I had in the morning, before eating. On occasion when I have tea before eating it makes me a little nauseous. And now a poem ~

Was it the tea or me?
We’ll have to try this one again and see.
It was a bit too bitter for me.

Fortunately we had a couple of leftover Buckwheat waffles. I ate one quickly and felt fine. Then it was back to our favorite cooked oatmeal made with organic rolled oats, dried apricots and apples.

Dinner: I’m calling this the “You’ll-Never-Know-This-Is-A-Kale-Salad Salad”: food processor finely chopped kale tossed with celery and carrots and tahini dressing served with a baked potato with roasted red pepper aioli.

Evening: Feeling a little tickle in my throat, I made a pot of ginger tea, loaded with fresh, grated ginger.
