What Vegans Eat – Day 462

Breakfast: We’re heading out to California tomorrow so I thought it would be nice to visit with my folks before leaving. My mom always prepares fresh fruit for her guests and today was no exception. We had watermelon, pineapple, strawberries, oranges and mangoes.

Lunch: For lunch we went to Jani’s. Gary and I shared the Green Triple Delight and some Avocado Maki.

Daily Green juice: Kale, Collards, Celery, Carrots with Ginger Juice Ice Cubes.
 
Dinner: All packed and almost ready to go we stepped out with our next door neighbor Marcia for dinner at Jade.
We toasted to our good friends. I had a Krak Belgium Ale which was served in a crazy looking glass that was placed in a wooden holder. It was delicious.

Gary and I shared the dishes we ordered: the Crispy Tofu with an excellent Cilantro Lime Sauce and the Wok Charred Vegetables.

Evening: Marcia’s husband missed dinner so he came by later. We sat down and had our mint tea together. Tomorrow our California adventure begins.
