What Vegans Eat – Day 470: Special Travel Edition


Breakfast: We began each with one half fresh cantaloupe, one half banana and green tea. Then I was off to the main house for yoga with Tammy.
After yoga I had a delicious bowl of oatmeal. Let’s play the game called what’s different about this oatmeal, okay? If you have been following this blog you’ve seen hundreds of pictures of oatmeal or rolled oats because we like oats for breakfast. This oatmeal has raisins and apricots in it. So what is different? The apricots are fresh! Normally we put dried apricots in our oatmeal but here in California, fresh apricots are easy to come by. And the taste? There is nothing better than fresh.
Daily Green Juice: Gary and I went for a long walk by the reservoir. It took about an hour and a half or longer. When we finished we treated ourselves to green juice at Whole Foods. Well done!
Dinner: I made a big dinner salad with Mixed Greens, Guacamole, Mushrooms, Carrots and Baked Tofu.
