Breakfast: Did I mention it is good to be home? We’ve been home for two full days. It still feels strange but getting more normal as the hours pass. Especially with a Rolled Oats Breakfast, served with cold Soy Milk, Sunflower Seeds, Bananas, Chia Seeds and Blueberries and Apricots.
Lunch/Dinner: We had a very late lunch or a very early dinner. Whichever it was, it was delicious. Gary fixed up his own version of Joe’s Special, with a little tweaking here and there for items we didn’t have. And for me he added a pile of Porcini Mushrooms. There was Guacamole, Tri Colore Carrot Sticks and Sprouted Corn Tortillas too. We ate on the terrace, which I have missed so much and watched the thunderstorms come and go. I love summer in New York!
Daily Green Juice: I have not gotten into my juice making routine. That’s why I am glad we have a Ripe Juice Bar in our neighborhood. I brought home two large Achilles, with Celery, Spinach, Parsley, Broccoli, Cucumber.
Evening: Refamiliarizing ourselves with the neighborhood we grabbed some Pineapple and Cantaloupe at a local market, across the street. The Pineapple was a perfect evening treat, sweet and juicy.
