What Vegans Eat – Day 879, Travel Edition


Breakfast: Start the day with water! Hydrating is important especially when the weather is hot. I can’t seem to get enough. I love drinking water with lemon and we have lots of fresh lemons from cousin Nancy’s tree.
Our multi grain mix with Millet, Black Rice, Red Rice and Farro used to make Meatloaf a few nights ago comes in handy for breakfast. We topped it with Strawberries, Blueberries, Cacao Nibs, Almonds, Walnuts, Pecans, Flax Seeds and Raisins.
Lunch: More hydrating with Iced Teeccino and Almond Milk. Mm.
Dinner: We had a date to meet with Glen and his wife Joanna for dinner at the Vegetarian House. Glen is an author and he wanted to discuss his new play with us. He had been talking to Gary by phone about directing it. Gary and I decided to share our favorites. We ordered a large Flying Buddha.
And we shared the Heavenly Salad, which was heavenly as always.
