Breakfast: After a perfect evening last night at Candle West, we were not hungry in the morning. I drank my cold-brew Chamomile/Lemon?ginger/Peppermint tea that I had made the day before. Then I got to work. If I wasn’t going to eat, I would prep food. I made green juice for the week and started some Sauerkraut.
On our long daily walk, we worked up an appetite. Gary made one of his signature dishes, the Frittata, this time loading it up with lots of Kale. We ate on the terrace. It’s a necessity in the heatwave we are having.
The Frittata was topped with homemade Cashew Yogurt and fresh, sliced Tomatoes.
Daily Green Juice: Kale, Collards, Celery, Carrots, Lemon
Dinner: In the hot weather, I just want to eat cool salads. We had a Romaine Lettuce Salad, tossed with Tahini Dressing, topped with Black Beans, Tomatoes, Red Onions and Walnuts, and Baked Sweet Potatoes on the side. I ate my Sweet Potatoes last, they were dessert.
