Breakfast: We get our produce delivery on Tuesdays, so Monday we make food from the produce remaining from the last week. Gary made a gorgeous smoothie with strawberries, banana, flax seeds and kale.
I sipped on several glasses throughout the morning.
The smoothie was satisfying but we both felt a need for oats. Sometimes I crave a cool bowl of raw oats and fresh fruit. Especially when the weather is nice and we eat “out” on the terrace.
Daily Green Juice: Kale, Collards, Celery, Carrots, Lemon
Dinner: This was a cozy, comforting meal. A giant bowl of vegetable miso soup, this time with an extra treat – teriyaki seitan from May Wah Vegetarian Market. And it was served with millet topped with tahini dressing.
