Breakfast: My dear friend Janet came with us to my dad’s funeral yesterday. Before we left, she gave me a jar with a smoothie prepared with Bananas, Pineapple, Watermelon, Raspberries, Strawberries, Cocoa Powder, Cinnamon, Almond Breeze, Water and Lime. It was what I needed right now in this sad time.
We had loads of lovely leftovers to make a beautiful Brunch: Baked Tofu, Garlic Hummus, Garbanzo Bean Flat Bread, Sweet Potato Fries, Potatoes, Creamy Pesto and Crudités.
Dinner: For dinner, we brought out all the same foods we had earlier and added in an Arugula Salad.
We finished the remainder of the Apple Pie and Pumpkin Pie I had brought to the gathering after my dad’s funeral.
Evening: We are grieving and our bodies rhythms are off. We were up late and brought out the foods we ate earlier one more time for a late night nosh.
