What Vegans Eat – Day 1083, Travel Edition


Breakfast: We are leaving the pool house today in Monte Sereno and moving to Gary’s sister and brother-in-law’s home for a week or so. We are almost all packed up. Gary prepared breakfast with what we had remaining, Rolled Oats, Soy Milk, Apricots and Walnuts. And fresh Oranges. During this flu epidemic I am grateful for all the local trees bearing Lemons, Oranges and Grapefruits and the people who share these fruits with us.

Dinner: I gave a voice lesson, then had a rehearsal with our band for The Music Man and last but not least, worked with one of our leads on his songs. It was a long day. Gary picked me up and we installed ourselves in the house we are staying in next. I got to eat leftovers from the Vegetarian House, plus Celery Stalks. Gary had more Oatmeal.

Our go to snack or dessert while traveling consists of Rice Cakes, Peanut Butter and Jam. One of our cast members gave us three jars of jam. We opened the Plum today. With dessert we had Italian Herb and Chamomile Tea.
