Breakfast: We enjoyed a lovely Sunday morning with Buckwheat Pancakes, Fruit Coulis, Bananas and Peanut Butter while listening to a Cello Concerto by Haydn on WQXR.
Lunch: It’s Mother’s Day and Gary and I took my mom to lunch. We chose P.F. Chang’s because she loved it there the last time we went out. We started with appetizers. I thought mom would like the Vegetarian Lettuce Wraps.
We also ordered Edamame. I know she loves them.
Mom got the Buddha’s Feast, like the last time. It comes with Five-spice Tofu, Savory Sauce, Asparagus, Shiitakes, Broccoli and Carrots.
I tried the Thai Harvest Curry with Red Curry, Butternut Squash, Five-spice Tofu, Rustic Vegetables, Asian Mushrooms, topped with Fresno Peppers
Gary chose the Stir-Fried Eggplant with Chinese Eggplant, Sweet Chili Soy Glaze, Green Onion, Garlic. The food was good once again and we had a nice time.
Dinner: Later in the evening back at home I wanted Cantaloupe. Gary does a gorgeous job of carving it.
