Breakfast: Saturdays are relatively easier during our Into the Woods rehearsal period, we only work from 1-5pm. This means we can sleep in a little longer and make breakfast at home. We had Breakfast Polenta with Raisins, Bananas and Apples.
Lunch: I ate during the rehearsal, first a Nectarine, then an Apple. One of the cast members brought us Tomatoes from her garden so I had one of those right away.
Dinner: We have not been socializing much during this trip. There simply isn’t time and we need to preserve our energy. But tonight we had plans to go to San Francisco to spend time with my friend Nancy, her partner Jane and son Robby. We were so hungry. We sat with Robby chatting away and stuffing our faces with Olives, Guacamole and Tortilla Chips while Nancy and Jane prepped dinner.
I was very impressed. Nancy was rolling up Spring Rolls with Rice Paper, Tofu, Lettuce and Veggies. When did she learn to do that? She reminded me, I taught her! We had made them at her house a few years back. They are a fun food to eat especially siting around a table with friends. We dipped them in Sky Valley Organic Thai Peanut Sauce.
The biggest surprise was the dessert. Jane and Robby made a vegan Chocolate Cake. Robby was quite please with himself and he deserved to be. It was a delicious cake. I took seconds.
Evening:
Back at the house we are staying at in Campbell we had an evening snack of Strawberries, Bananas, Cherries and Peanut Butter.
