What Vegans Eat – Day 1258, Travel Edition – Bay Area, CA

Lunch: It’s Sunday, our one day off for the week. It’s precious and a time to get ready for the crazy week ahead. We went to a local laundromat and did laundry! We came back to the house and made our main meal for the day, a stew of Polenta, Black Beans, Tomatoes, Greens and Corn, served with Celery Sticks and Guacamole.

 
Dinner: We spent some time at the Rose Garden, napping under a tree. Then we ran around to some stores returning things I had bought to wear tonight for the concert I was going to sing in. We moved the date of the concert to December. I am grateful for that. We really needed this day to take it easy and take care of some basic needs. We weren’t very hungry and ate simple, Polenta with Banana and Pumpkin Seeds.
