Lunch: Oh what a feeling! We are done. It has been an intense time, with much work and little free time. But it was worth taking the journey Into the Woods. We did our last bit of tidying up and loaded the car with our bags. I ate the last of the Millet with Tomatoes and Tahini in the car on the way to get a massage.
We stopped at Peet’s for some Chai Tea. We had them brew it using loose leaf tea, not bags, but forgot to ask for mugs. It worked out as we had to take our teas with us. I had to get to my massage. After conducting ten shows in five days my body needed some extra care.
Dinner: Our last meal before heading home was at our home away from home, the Vegetarian House with Gary’s cousins, Nancy and Wade. Of course, the Heavenly Salad was there.
And the Mango Salad too.
I was in celebration mode and ordered the Rainbow! It’s the house made Bean Curd wrapped in Crispy Seaweed with Vegetables & Mushroom in Sweet & Sour Sauce.
Wade went for the Jolly Burger and Fries. We’ve yet to try that one!
Gary had the Guru Curry with Rice. It’s an exotic blend of Curries, Soy Protein, Potato, Tomato, Peas, Onion & Spices in a rich curry with Green Cardamom, Cumin & Cloves.
Nancy ordered her usual, the Raw Spicy Thai Wrap, Shredded Cabbage, Carrot, Red Bell Pepper, Onion, Cilantro & Fresh Mint in a lightly spiced Thai Almond Sauce with
Coconut & wrapped in a marinated Collard Green Leaf. This is so good!
Yes, I insisted on desserts for us to share! I chose the Raw Lemon Tart.
And, I wanted the New York Cheezecake too.
